SciTeMed operates a transparent peer review system. If the manuscript is published, the peer review reports will be published online alongside the article. However, any comments which the reviewers wish to be included as confidential comments to the authors and the editors will not be published. In addition, the reviewers' names will not be included on the peer review reports unless the reviewers request for it. The peer review reports will not be accompanied in the PDF version of article.

With pre-publication history, open peer review system increases transparency of the whole review process. We believe the open peer review system makes the reviewers and the editors more accountable of the peer review and decision-making process. Hence, this enhances the quality of review reports. Those who agree for their names to be published in the review reports through the open peer review system can look forward increased credits and recognition for their work.
